Good old "Potland", a "Porkland", oh yeah, Portland comes to the aid of people who enter this country in defiance of our immigration laws and regulations. In this sanctuary city, illegals are treated like the "chosen ones" while the legal citizens (aka, indentured slaves) pay the taxes that support the programs that illegals are the beneficiaries.
As a 45+ year resident of Portland, I have watched the decay of the quality of life as another country's citizens over-run/overwhelm our education, medical, social services, criminal system, neighborhoods, and patience. It's time to revoke the sanctuary city status and let these people take their schooling and skills back to their native countries so they can reclaim and rebuild their beloved homeland.
Our city lords have gone above and beyond their job descriptions. Get back to business running the city and not our and others lives.
